About us

Coming back to scale modelling after a break of 40 years I was amazed at how much the hobby and changed and developed. I was astounded at the quantity and quality of products available now. After a while I noticed that many of the products were branded but very similar and that the brands were doing very well, this set me thinking. A big headache later I decided that there was room in the market for someone doing things a bit differently; so together with 2 chaps I had met while travelling my modelling journey we decided to set up a company to make a fresh offer to the scale modelling community, hence Scale Models HQ.

Our mission is to offer good quality products at a fair price, plain and simple. We have found and will continue to find products that are not easily available and we also have a few innovative ideas for products in development.
